I have a Note 9 & actually got the April Sec update a couple of weeks ago.
Now my Tab S3 is still on the Dec security software. Samsung is Pathetic.

Well, I don't know how their history in treating/supporting their tablets but this is my first Sammy and since the release of the Note 8, I can say I have gotten every monthly update pretty much like clockwork... even though clockwork means about a month after Google releases the security patch does it trickle to their phones lol.

I don't think they had ever been so consistent in any phone before so that's probably the best they can do to show they care about providing updates. You want any more timely then you have to get a Pixel lol.

I don't know how AT&T prioritizes their phone updates but if I had to guess, newer models would get them first. I get that the testing could take time due to all of the different Android phones out there but there has to be testing software available which can focus on the specific security updates and batch-run most of the testing. Who knows?
