ATT still on October Security Update?

Yeah, technically, AT&T has to update their phones within 90 days of a security patch release to stay within Google's "suggested" guidelines. So, they have until Feb 1. Doesn't mean they absolutely will follow that.

But AT&T have been fairly good about staying current on security patches. Only letting it slip a few months just a couple of times all last year.

The AT&T S9 is at least on the Nov 1 security patch, but it's starting to get late too.

True, but being an AT&T branded phone means it will only show you what AT&T allows. And right now, the Oct. patch is "current".
Yes, what Is available at that moment.
Att has a history on Samsung phones in letting out updates , some go no problems while others stuck forever until you flash it .

In this case it seems AT&T just plain dropped the ball on all their Note 8 owners and October is the latest.

They have been good on this phone since launch until now. Not the end of the world but it does irk me a bit.

You would have to check sammobile website under firmwares to see the latest it's on
