How do you add typed text to a saved note?

Are you using Samsung Notes? If so, are the notes created using that version/app? If these are saved/exported notes from previous major releases or apps (like S-Notes), those are no longer editable.

If the notes are editable, just open the one you want, tap the Edit button (pencil icon at the top) and make sure the Text option is selected on the top left bar. Then just tap where you want to insert text!
