I get this error pop up message on my Note 8 that says COULD NOT CONNECT TO 127.0.0.1:777. Its pretty random and it pops up when im just on my home screen when no apps are running or running. Not sure how to fix it to make it go away. Anyone familiar with this and how to get rid of this?

Welcome to Android Central! Does that only happen on wi-fi, or also on mobile data alone?

Nevermind, it just popped up again. Like i said i uninstalled some apps earlier today in hopes that would help but no luck on that. Not sure what else is causing it.

It could be adware trying to pop up a browser ad, but the ad server is having problems. The next time this happens, try the steps in this guide: Full screen ads. How to find the culprit. - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com
