Galaxy Note 9 Cannot Take Burst shots[Solved]

Spent the last hour trying to figure out how to take burst shots at an event. My settings say to take burst shots when swiping to edge. At one point when I held down the onscreen shutter button, I got a message saying to swipe to edge to take burst shots. Tried swiping to all edges but no luck. Now, settings still say to swipe to edge but holding down takes video and no longer gives message to swipe to edge. What am I doing wrong?

From inside the circle start from the top and drag down but hold it in that position
