I ordered the 128gb version last Friday, got the akg freebie and ordered a DeX dock for $69, I wanted to get the see through flip case but I'll wait for the cheap knockoffs to hit ebay and Amazon, I just can't see spending $70 on any case for any phone.
Why did you get the dex dock, it's built in on the note 9. You just need to get the cord.

speaking of 512GB.. We ordered the Blue and Purple through Verizon. No trade in, because I'm not ready to give up my Note 8. Does anyone know when the 512GB micro SD card will be available from Samsung? Currently I am using a 256GB micro SD card and have filled about 60gb of it.

I haven’t seen a release date yet.

If you’ve only used 60 out of 256, then you shouldn’t need to upgrade.

$1200 dollars for a phone??.. That's plum crazy because in 6 months it will be worth maybe 400 dollars.. I think I can spend $1200 somewhere else that makes since.

My first startac I bought was $800 and there were no jump plans. It had a dot led display.

My choice will be the 128gb with 6gb of Ram in black direct from my local Samsung Experience Store in the UK.

I use a s8 with 64gb of memory and have only used 20gb of that !

I won't use anywhere near 512Gb and as 4gb of Ram has been more than enough for my usage in the s8 I can see the 6gb of Ram in the Note 9 being ample.

The price hike between the two is too high.

2 GB RAM is enough when companies were moving to 4 GB.
4 GB RAM is enough when companies were moving to 6 GB.
6 GB RAM is enough when companies are moving to 8 GB.

Those arguments never go away when we are in that transition window

Personally, I buy the highest available spec available currently so can never complain of more anything. Obviously price is factor if you don't want the highest available spec.
Has anyone ever said "I have too much ram"?

I went for 512gb for future proofing and Ram, was only £10 a month more than 128, and I got good trade in for s7 (£320), so it sweetened the deal a bit. May as well go for the biggest and best as I expect it to last me a couple of years

I agree. Go big or go home! I ordered two 512gb Note 9 phones from Verizon. I currently have the Note 8 with 64gb internal storage and 256sd card. I love my Note 8 but I want the best and it's the Note 9 512gb version. It is like you buy the car you desire not the car you need. Most people can have a car but you want the one of your dreams.
