    This is one post, with two questions (sort of related)...

    1. With the Always On screen, can you click an icon from a notification, and it take you to said application? I tried pressing, holding, and even double tapping.

    2. When on the home screen, and a notification comes in, can you have it set to NOT show the entire message, but merely a preview?

    Settings >> Lock screen >> Notifications
    There it gives you the option to Hide content.

    I saw what you did there! I now need to remember I have a stylus. And that setting worked perfectly. Thanks

    To confirm, there is no way to have notifications hidden, but, still show the name of who it is from?

    This is controlled on a per app basis. For example, if you use Textra as your SMS app, it has that option. So the app itself has to support that.
