So I'm around 27 hours off charger, 3.5 hours of SOT and I'm at 20%. Is this good? Android system says it's at 15%. It's right under my SOT which is 20%. Is that normal?

Yes that's good battery life...u can disable andriod system to work in back ground...that will have no effect on daily functions of the phone

Can you refresh me on how to reboot this device? Thanks!!
To clear the cache, turn the phone off completely. When it is off, hold the power button, volume up button and bixby button in all at the same time and that will boot up into recovery. Use the volume up/down keys to navigate the menu to get to wipe cache. Hit the power button to select that and then select reboot phone.

Daily routine:
Charge phone to ~80-85% at 9am take phone off charger.
Use phone all day, stream pandora in car and while working out, watch youtube, surf, message, read news.
Go to bed, wake up at 6am phone has ~40-45% battery left.
Rinse, repeat.

Is there a job somewhere in your daily routine?

Again, how do you do this?
While in your battery stats, click on Android System. Then, there will be a toggle for Allow background activity.

This is my first full day with the phone. Works for me. Not real heavy usage today, but didn't plug it in, either, like I would my Note8.

Does this effect anything else?
Only way to really know is to try it out for a day or two and see if you have any issues or if battery life is better. People on here say it doesn't negatively impact performance. I, personally, didn't toggle it off yet as mine was only at 5%.

I've had my phone for 13 days. Today was my worst battery day  14 hours 8 minutes on battery. 4 hours 20 minutes of SOT. 7% battery left. That's pretty bad isn't it?

yeah that's pretty bad, always happens with my samsung phones, Note 8 and S9+ both started with 6 hours SOT and after a few weeks I was only getting like 4.30 SOT max. I love samsung features and I LOVE the screens they put in their flagships but the fact that my oneplus 6 ($500 phone) was noticeable faster and smoother and had about the same, if not better, battery life with only 3300 mAh is just ridiculous.

Also OP6 charged from 20% to 70% in less than 30 minutes WHILE heavy using the phone.

If I try to do that with the Note 9 it only charges like 4% in 30 minutes with the "fast charger". I must turn off the screen and still charges pretty slow compared to the OP6 charging with screen on.

I'm considering trying out the Mate 20 Pro if I can get a good deal and comes with QHD samsung display

4200 mah, 7 nm efficient and specially optimized for that device soc, 70% charged in 30 minutes sounds great:
