Hello all. My wife has the purple 128 gb version with Tmobile. She let me know there was a problem with the spen. When I checked it out I noticed when drawing all over the screen there are spots that do not pick up the touch and just leaves it black. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? I haven't reset the phone (id rather not go through that again if I don't have too.)

This may seem obvious, but have to ask: Is she using a screen protector? Also, does she have Touch Sensitivity turned on under Advanced Settings?

Are you using a case that has a magnet in it? That can cause issues.

That was it my friend! She has a case that has a magnet in it that connects to a bigger wallet. Thank you for the idea!

Np. Yeah that's a common issue with Note devices. Not very magnet friendly with the spen.
