I am hoping someone can help me figure out what is going on. I was getting 6 hours or more usage for screen on time, and now my battery is draining pretty fast on it's own. Here is my battery usage from today with very little use. Just 1 hour of screen usage. Android System seems to be the biggest issue. Any ideas what I can do with that?
I forgot to mention..go to device maintenance and upper right hand corner hit the notepad icon and see if any apps crashed maybe might find something there.
I noticed this earlier and found 1 app that crashed 27 times, off to the bin it went!
go to android system and don't allow it to work in the back ground
I have the same issues. Nothing has helped. Samsung says it's normal battery life if I get 3 hrs screen on time in 15-16 hrs battery life.

How's your cell signal over that time period? You currently only have 2 bars, which isn't great. Granted, poor cell signal should show up as increased Cell Standby or Phone Idle, but I wouldn't be surprised if it also increased some System process as the phone works harder to maintain the signal.
And I wouldn't restrict Android System's background usage -- it's the system, so if you want the phone to work as designed, it needs to be operational. ADDENDUM: I spoke to another Mod who actually tried restricting Android System, and he said it didn't really do anything -- either good or bad.:-\
Mine was doing that 'bad' battery since the first update, so I took the plunge and cleared Play Services cache/data. Because of other issues I also cleared Play Store data and not sure which caused it, but I went from 3h SOT to 6-8 on a normal day. PITA, though, some apps (and my Wear OS watch) got unlinked and had to re-set up stuff like that or Smart Lock, but it's been great after that.
Mine is bad inside my home, and bad around the property i work at. i'm normally 1-2 bars, sometimes 3 bars.
I do understand that this would make a difference, but I cant see it making a 6-8 hour difference.
I don't know how this translates to battery duration in hours, but here's my example: when I'm on call at the hospital (where cell reception is horrible) and have to be there from 8 AM to about 10 PM, the battery on my Pixel 2 XL typically ends the day at around 40%. On days when I'm not in the hospital all day (and therefore have generally better cell signal throughout the day), my battery ends the day with closer to 60%. So it might be enough to account for a big chunk of that difference you're experiencing, but of course there may be other factors involved as well.
