I am trying to use the surround shot option for my Note 9 but can't seem to find it in the camera options. I've tried swiping all the way to either side when using the camera in order to get the full list of options but that doesn't seem to work. It's weird because both modes are shown as installed when opening the apps section under settings. Any ideas?

Is Panorama what you're looking for?

No it's a different shooting mode. I had it on my Galaxy S7 before I upgraded although I had to download it through the Galaxy Apps. Tried the same with the Note 9 but it's not available. Here's a good example of it:

You're quite right, it is a stand alone feature on the note 8 too:

Their gone. Most of them went away starting on the S9/S9+. The Note 9 is the first without sport mode but you can use burst mode instead and always worked better than sport mode.

Go to Samsungapk.com and do a search for it

Thanks for the advice. I downloaded an APK file for the "surround shot" but there was nothing to open once it finished. I think Samsung no longer wants this option in their phones just to push the new Samsung Gear 360 camera. Kind of unfortunate since it was a nice mode to have on my phone and I don't feel like carrying an entirely separate camera for the 360 moments. Oh well!

I tell you what though. The Gear 360 camera is fun to use. I got it free with the S8+ and have upgraded to a better 360 camera since but the Gear 360 is pretty cheap nowadays and a great device to try out 360 photos and videos. I understand it's another device to carry but the quality and options are worth it if you want better content.

I tried installing all of them a week or so ago, they installed but that was it, they didn't integrate with the camera.
