I love Samsung experience. Much better than stock android, it might not be as fast or smooth but on the note 9 it runs very well. And it has so many more perks and benefits than stock android. Who else thinks Samsung experience is better than the stock android

I never used stock android on my Notes but do totally agree that Samsung experience is working well (on Note 8 still)

Samsung Experience is ok. It was also fast and fluid on my Note 8. I like stock Android too. The only thing I don't like about Samsung Experience is the split personality it has. Samsung tends to duplicate everything in Android from the Google Play Store to the Google Assistant. Managing a phone with apparent schizophrenia can be a daunting task.

My only other gripe is that Samsung Experience fails with AOD where stock Android and Apple gets it right - they allow to lift a phone that's turned off a d shows the display long enough for you view time, check ti see if there are any messages and such. I do not want an 'always on display' on my phone, but don't want to always have to press a button to see the display either.

Re what you consider are duplicate apps - just ditch the stock Android, problem solved.

I like Samsung Experience UI as well. However, I saw a leak of 10.0 online yesterday running on the S9 and it looks kind of hideous. Sounds like they're trying for a look closer to stock Pie. Maybe it's just something new to get used to in the future.

I see it just the opposite. For the most part, I prefer the Samsung apps over the Google ones. Internet, email, calendar, etc. are better. If Samsung didn't include these apps, I probably would have bought a Pixel instead. There are some exceptions like GBoard and Google Assistant, which I think are better than Samsung Keyboard (much improved on Note 9 vs Note 8 btw) and Bixby.

I don't think managing this is daunting for the average person, delete the Google apps (which Samsung is required to include) you don't want and be done with it.

while Samsung experience is so much better than it used to be I can't find myself switching from Nova Prime. So much more flexibility and ability to have Google now swiped to the left instead of that awful bixby.

I don't think Samsung experience is affected by Nova. Samsung experience is throughout the the whole OS. Menus, options, visual elements...everything.

Bixby is not awful. Maybe you should read the tutorials found in the menu to see what Bixby can do.

I agree 100%. I find stock so boring and plain. I really don't see the point. Samsung offers so much with the little extras. And Bixby is great! I use it everyday and it saves me a ton of time.

I believe that's more opinion based as I actually enjoy Samsungs AOD better then apple or Googles offering.

I agree Samsung has really improved, that I don't need to install Nova Prime. I can't say that for LG and especially Huawei who have the worst looking OS.

This is why IMO paying a premium (Apple pricing) for stock & instant updates on the Pixel isn't worth it.
