Well, it’s probably the worst time of year to buy a smartphone. All the new ones come out, and the holidays are right around the corner for killer deals. However, I’m getting the itch to buy a Note 9.

I’m currently using an iPhone X which I have actually quite enjoyed for the time that I’ve used it. I also previously used the Note 8, Pixel 2XL, and BlackBerry KEY2; I used the KEYone last year. The KEY2 has a disappointing camera which ultimately made me return it. I really enjoyed the pixel software; however, I seem to be wanting another note because it finally seems like a Samsung device that has the whole package. The new s pen and increased battery life are welcome additions. I never liked Samsung’s skin and duplicate apps, but of course there are ways around that.

How do you all like your Note 9’s?

Wait until black Friday and grab a bargain with freebies thrown at you too

Phone addicts don’t need to apologize for even rash uneconomical decisions. Sometimes just buying same phone in another color is a good enough reason 🙃

I’d rather have a spare Note than the 8/512 model though, that’s a bit spicy.

I did that with the KEY2 because I was certain I would love it. I couldn’t decide between the black or the silver; I returned both.

I was worried about the SAMSUNG interface, but it really is not all that heavy compared to straight up android.

I used to own the htc 10... I really like this Note 9...

Good luck,
R

Coming from a Note addict, I dont think you'll be disappointed in the least, with this phone (Note 9)

Outstanding device

They're reduced in price now, but you might get better deals later.

Verizon has it for $33.33 on a 24 month plan, which makes it $799.

Tmobile is down to $870 (haggle for a no or better down payment if they require one, I didn't pay one two weeks ago). I did this because I'm on JUMP and can change in a year (or when half is paid off, usually a year).

Amazon had a good deal a week ago. They might before black Friday. Last year they did specials a week prior and after.

Keep your eyes out. You might find something

I’m in Canada. I refuse to sign another contract with the monopoly that is owned by the Big 3 here.

The Note 9 is hands down the best device I've used to date. It is everything the Note 8 should have been and so much more. I previously had a Note 8 and had no intentions of upgrading, but when I got the offer to get the N9 for half off with the trade in of my N8 I had to take advantage of that godfather offer. And man am I glad I did. The phone is just a beast of fun and functionality. It covers all the bases from pics that are awe inspiring to playing videos that pop off the screen. If your experience is anything like mine (and I hope it is) you will have a ball!

I love mine. Just got it a couple of weeks ago. My Note8 worked fine as well. No hiccups. It's fast, the stereo speakers are a great improvement and the battery life has been better as well. Camera is slightly better in low light. Otherwise, not earth shattering upgrades there for most daily picture taking.
