I thought it was standalone app until I long press it and app info came back Google drive I was like what ..lol

Never would have imagined a connection between google drive and the clipboard... glad it’s sorted out

Hard to imagine how drive and the generic AOSP 'copy to clipboard' could be considered to be connected, eh.

I also found a workaround. Simply share to samsung notes and then when you paste it into a new note you can then copy it from there to the clipboard.

I find it egregious that someone decided to remove that. Probably a new guy who thought "well I never use that feature so it must be useless"; I expect this kind of retarded behaviour from apple but not android! This is the first time since I switched that my old iphone actually did something better. Yuck!
