For two days since I have owned it, the battery has given me 4 hours screen on time. This is whilst playing no games, watching a few minutes of youtube, recording 10 seconds of 4k video and mostly browsing the web, checking emails, whatsapp and about 2.5 hours of spotify (downloaded not streamed) using bluetooth headphones.

This is poor in my opinion.

The other aspects of note 9 - camera quality, speed, charging speed, face unlock reliability/speed, have been beaten within a couple of months after launching by others.

The comfort when holding the phone is also a problem for me - think I want to go back to my S8+ and wait for S10/get Mate 20 pro.

    Anyway Samsung's terms say:

    1. You may cancel the Contract and return your products for any reason within 28 days of the day you receive the Product(s).

    2. It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the Product(s). The Product(s) must be returned in a reasonable condition along with any packaging, manuals, accessories, free items and any other components. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Reasonable condition is pretty subjective. My phone is in perfect condition, but I have used it and opened the packaging. Anyone tried returning before and would this be fine?

Of course it's entirely your decision to return it but I'd definitely say that the battery gets better the more you use it. the phone finds its balance after a few weeks of usage.

You don't have to justify to us your returning the phone. I can't see why you'd think you would have a problem returning the phone with those conditions. They say that it has to be in reasonable condition along with the packaging, etc. and you say the phone is in perfect condition. Of course you are going to have opened the package to try the phone out.

Just make sure to have documentation of the phone like pics and vids before you send it out.
