Google app change browser

I've tried but to no avail , I would like to change weblinks in Google to open in Samsung browser when using the Google app. It currently opens within " powered by Chrome" browser with an option to open in Samsung browser , but not permanently.

In the Google app tap the More button and select settings. Then select accounts and privacy. Switch off the selection for open web pages in Google app. Afterwards, the next time you make a selection in the news feed you should get the pop up to select your browser of choice.
