So, I accidentally deleted a thread from messages.andoid.com before the page refreshed. In between the nanoseconds right after I clicked DELETE, the page refreshed and my wife's extensive thread history was the one that got deleted. Any chance of retreival? I checked my Samsung Cloud backup which I would assume has been active on a regular basis has not backed up in a month. I suppose missing the last month's history of messages is preferable to losing out on years of messages.

Unfortunately, you are correct: Android Messages, unlike most other Google products, don't offer a 'restore to previous backup' option. Unless you were keeping a backup of your messages elsewhere (like S-Cloud), messages deleted from Android Messages are gone.

There are 3rd party apps that claim the ability to restore deleted messages, you could try one of those but not sure if they work or not.
