    After Verizon December security update everytime I try and make a call I get a message saying phone has stopped. I can hear call go thru on bluetooth headset but no dial pad.

    I would try to clear cache and restart see if it fixes it.

    That's one of the first things I tried. I finally figured it out it was Substratum. Thanks for responding

    I think I recall a note from substratum sharing to uninstall, either themes or the app, prior to system update.
    Glad to hear you got it sorted out so soon. That must have been nerve racking.

    I am having the phone freezing and force closing but only after I hang up the call and the freezing lasts about 3-4 seconds. I don't have Substratum but I do have Swift Installer.

    Sounds like that could be a similar culprit. Have you tried uninstalling it?

    Turned out I just needed to then some updates in Swift Installer, no further issues. Thanks for everyone's help.
