Some area will see better improvement over their 4G LTE AT&T. I also have this for the northern California area.

More than just rebranding. LTE-A... you have to have the hardware to support it which Samsung 8 Series and later do. I believe it's their ability to take the LTE frequencies that they have and instead of connecting you to one frequency, they are able to provide more bandwidth by combining available frequencies. Maybe like in the old days of shotgunning modems on PCs if you're old enough to remember that lol.

So what does it mean when its 4g LTE again ?????? if it just a rebranding of the logo. Plus I did a speed test with the 5g e and it was 9mbps and with the 4glte is was 20

How can you really tell if it's faster anyway? To be honest, in NYC - depending on where and your time of day, your download could be 3Mb/s or 50Mb/s and it's not constant. I seem to find it more around the 2Mb/s-15Mb/s on a "good" day in lower Manhattan. There is just so much congestion at times and in some areas.

I don't have the 5G E logo on my Note 9 yet but I've been seeing some very fast speeds in some areas here in Denver. The highest download speed I got was 211Mbps.

When I first updated mine to Pie it said 5Ge on the top but then reverted to the old 4GLte logo. Does that mean my area doesn't have the 5Ge service?
