AT&T Note 9 w/Pie - No gestures or muting

Sorry if this has been asked; I searched but couldn't find anything.

My Note 9 (AT&T) got the Pie update last week, but it seems to be missing features like gestures and Power+Volume Up muting (nothing happens at all).

Am I missing a setting somewhere? I'm using OneUI but I also have Nova installed.

Hi , for gestures you can pull notifications panel down swipe over to navigation toggle and long press to turn on, on Att so far it looks like they disabled to silence with the volume button but on notifications panel you can still do it

I thought I read you could swipe right on the navigation bar to switch between apps. Am I mistaken?
It doesn't work, if so.
Also, no screenshot is taken with a palm swipe.

No can't swipe
For palm swipe go in settings>advance features>motion and gestures
