Just got the One UI / Pie update.

Aside from the fact that I hate it so much that I'm going back to my Note 8 - does anyone know what these gray bars are on either side of the screen? And how to get rid of them?

They're especially distracting when watching videos, as they never go away. Seems like they are some kind of "back / forward" gesture tabs.

Thanks for the help (including the other discussions on the topic)!

    Chris

That's the edge panel. Open it, click the wheel at the bottom, and then turn if off if you don't use it.

In my case it was the separate "One handed" app installed by Good Lock 2018. I uninstalled that app and problem was resolved.

This was it. I had to update it within Good Lock, then disable it.

    Thank you!

Sorry for the double post, but my first thread would not show up for some reason this morning.
