Well now that the big update has been installed and everything settled down and the phone has got to know my usage I think my battery is around the same as it was on Oreo, no worse.

I'm not the hardest user of a mobile phone but I think the battery holds up just fine for me at least.

Off charge at 7am Friday morning and back on charge Monday morning still with over 20% battery!

I've been on Android Pie One UI for over 4 weeks. SOT has essentially remained the same but standby time has improved.

How can you go that long on a charge. I have 10hr on mine and its at 47% and i only have 2hr 25min of screen time.

That's better than I'm getting, ever since the Pie update my battery life feels like it's back to 2012. I'm sitting at 8 hours 46 minutes, 1 hour 52 minutes screen on time and I'm at 43%. I'm having to charge the phone back upon to get about 96% in the afternoon to make it till 11:30 pm. I did a clear cache, and nothing looks out of the normal battery usage I had before the update. Top 2 items number 1 screen on, number 2 Android System. This actually sucks.

I think that I am noticing a bit more of a drop than on Oreo. I think that estimates are around 10 hours now

Wow 9hrs OST in a day, impressive but I think 3 hours is my maximum in any one day, I suppose my gaming PC gets a fair bit of usage so makes up the extra!

That's my business phone so I'm on it a lot in one day . But I only have like 50 apps the rest Just stock settings but TMobile and the unlocked I always had good battery the Att version was slightly less . I get similar to your battery 2 days about 3 to 5 hrs SOT if not using heavy

How are you guys getting that much time. MIne sucks.

My note9 is stock meaning from the launcher to settings that been applied I only have 50 apps download from banking , to Facebook,WhatsApp,Instagram, some other business ones so try keep minimum and like to use native apps to perform functions instead of 3rd party apps .

I might have maybe 20apps and i'm not using any 3rd party apps to do any functions either. Its just really frustrating seeing other ppl getting great battery life and i'm not getting very good. I think i have all the apps i can restricted on background and not allowed to use background data.

What carrier you on? Sure I definitely be upset not getting at least decent battery life

Mine has been better for the most part (maybe crediting dark mode?) I've seen 6-6 .5 hrs screen on time

If there is a difference it's negligible for me. Overall no complaints about battery life.
