My Husband's S9+ Understands Me

MY Note 9 doesn't. I have the hardest time with my Note 9 understanding my text to speech. All this time I thought it was me. I used text to speech on my husband's S9+ and it understood me perfectly I've retrained m voice using Voice Match over and over but it doesn't help. Help?

I find with Bixby it's hit n miss...google on the other hand ... right on the money..

Can check settings here maybe make language understand more aggressive not conservative.

Just to cover the basics, have you cleared the cache partition and rebooted? Have you gently vacuumed the microphone hole to remove any debris?

And make sure you pay attention to the secondary mic opening at the top of the phone, not just the primary mic at the bottom. I think voice-to-text uses the secondary mic.

I'm not finding the screen you have. I did find "Hearing Enhancements" but not "Language Detection". I don't see anything on that screen that would help. I'm on Verizon.

I just changed to Samsung voice to text. SEEMS to be working better. We'll see.
