I'm sorry, I know that this has become a long thread. I got the impression that I was the only one who got the Settings update, which is why the suggestion to factory reset my phone (in case it was some weird hack). After I factory reset the phone, I got the same notification, and I performed the requested update.

My question is: Did no one else get the Settings update notification? Before doing the Settings update I got the Settings > Search > Night clock error I mentioned above, and afterwards the same thing. No one else seems to be getting this error.

I see what you're saying now. When I use S Finder to search for night clock I did get an error that crashed the search app.

But to change your night clock settings just swipe up on the bottom of your edge panel to show the gear and tap on that to enter settings, and there you will find night clock. When you enable night clock you will be able to select up to 8 hours where the time clock will display automatically with the screen off.

As far as the crash goes, I have never used s finder until now so I don't know how buggy it and if other things make it crash.

Perfect! As long as I know that I'm not "special", I'm good. I appreciate you hanging in there and confirming the same crash. Does Samsung have a user-reportable bug tracker?

When something in Android crashes it pulls up a way to report the crash. But S Voice is a Samsung App. Personally, I wrote a review at Samsungs website for in order to let them know what I think needs improvement.
