    Hi!

Go to the Play Store. Enter Music in the searchfield. Then you'll find Samsung Music. Uninstall this, and your Note will work fine again.

    Hi there,

I don't seem to be able to uninstall it. How did you do it?
    Cheers!

    A.

EDIT: yea, no problem. Had to go on the playstore from the phone itself and then remove. Like a charm! Thanks a lot!

Yep mine too. Got to do it every other day it seems. As I've got auto updates on when I charge phone. So it reinstall overnight. Waiting for a Samsung update that works!!! Come on Samsung! !

    Same happened to me.

If you go to the play store check recent updates there was one for Samsung music. Uninstall the update and it'll be magically fixed!
Wow thanks a lot! I was ready to throw the fun out of the window

Sorry for reviving this old thread, but I think it's worth it…

I started to get this "Unfortunately, Cocktailbar service has stopped" error on my Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915G) yesterday (May 9, 2019). Samsung Music app was auto-updated (to version 16.2.17.19, according to Google Play) just before this started to happen, so I already suspected that's what causing the issue. And indeed, reverting it to the factory version immediately fixed the issue. So, looks like Samsung has made this bug once again.
