Device status: custom, need to update android os

I tried to root my android note edge build number SN-915G but failed and bricked it. At that time, in download mode, the device status was still official, then I used something through odin called "Recovery.tar" that I don't exactly remember where I got it from. It successfully unbricked but now the device status is custom. I looked up tutorials on how to return it back to offical but everything I found involved having to have a properly rooted phone, so since I didn't exactly root mine, I'm looking for help.

Maybe even you failed to root, you still tripped the KNOX counter because you tried to root your phone.

KNOX counter is used by samsung devices to indentify if your phone have been rooted once or more times.

So far so good, there are no way to reset the KNOX counter.
