Web pages freeze

I'm using Chrome on my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and web pages are constantly freezing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

There is freezing problem with Chrome? Never noticed but I Maxthon half the time... Have you tried just clearing data on the app?

Are you talking about freezing during scrolling? Sample URL would be a good idea so that we are are comparing performance on the same page.

Have you adjusted flags in chrome at all? Google "speed up chrome android" to find some articles on potential flag changes. I've made some on my device but since I did not document them as I did them I have no clue which flags have been changed at this point. For sure I have the max tiles changed to 512 though. It helped but some pages like http://www.androidcentral.com are finicky no matter what settings I have tried.

I would also clear the device cache. It current hurt to periodically curse the cache anyway.

this happens even after shutting down and re-starting. Pages open ok, but when I go to do something, the freeze happens.
It happened just now using FT.com

Freeze with information displayed or just blank? Showing just a blank screen is a known bug affecting a lot of people. Apparently there is a fix coming soon
