I would like to sync S Note between my new (actually refurbished) galaxy note pro 12.2 and my galaxy note 4.0 phone. The tablet has S Note 3.1.0 installed, the phone has S Note 4.0. Snyc option not available on the tablet, so I assume the two are not compatible. I have been unable to find information on whether or not S Note 4.0 will be available for the galaxy not pro 12.2. Does anyone out there know? If not, is there another way to transfer content from the the S Note from each device to the other? thank you.

Not sure why you say the sync option is not available on the tablet... I had a Note 10.1 2014 (basically the same as Note Pro 12.2 but smaller) and it did have the option to sync to either your Evernote account or your Samsung one. I chose the first since you can access your notes from the web as well on Evernote's service.

Same here (Evernote). I'm not sure what versions I have but I have a note 4 on KitKat and the note pro WiFi.

The issue may be the different file formats used between the different versions of SNote. The older versions used a *.snb format where as the new version uses a *.spd format. The two formats are not compatible and the new version of SPen is not backward compatible with the old format.

To the best of my knowledge, the 'new' version automatically converts older files into the new format. And IIRC that changed on the Note 3, so the Tab Pro and the Note 4 should have the same format, even if different versions of S-Note.
