Never-the-less, the more people that call or online chat with Samsung and log their Bluetooth Lollipop 5.0.2 issues, the better chance we will have to see a fix coming from Samsung sooner rather than later.
I totally agree, however, I have not yet upgraded my Note Pro 12.2 to 5.0.2 simply because of a potential issue with my Logitech K810 keyboard (I've been postponing it since first getting the notification last week). I'm not willing to install an update I can't reverse just to find out, either.

I just chatted with Samsung, who claim they do not know about this problem. I copied the address to this thread and I was told " That is not a Samsung Site" meaning there is no validity here....I mentioned that it just was not this site that was talking about this and basically I got the sorry there is nothing wrong and if there is " I hope they fix it too" !!!!!!!!!

    Wow !

I chatted with Samsung twice last night too, neither agent was aware of this problem and both said it wasn't for Samsung to resolve. One suggested I contact Bluetooth, if my bluetooth appliances weren't working properly ... waste of time.

I've got three note pro 12.2's, one is mine and two for my directors. One of my directors got the 5.0.2 update, and killed the keyboard. Everyone sould escalate the issue to Samsung that has one of these devices and has received the update. As of now, only one business tablet cannot use the keyboard, but if all three got the update, I'd have a serious issue. These are business devices and we cannot be without bluetooth keyboards. Class action if the issue doesn't get resolved quickly...

Today, I chatted with Samsung NL about this and the forthcoming problem with keyboards. I simply need the virtual keyboard pop up simultaneously, for symbols and diacritics that are not on the international keyboard, or simply are not accepted from a remote keyboard in some apps e.g. Samsung Mailclient on the NotePro. It worked well this way on 4.4.2; now the virtual keyboard is blocked by either the malfunctioning BT option, or my setup through an OTG cable.
That may be less a problem in the USA, in Europe when writing multiple language's from internationalised keyboards it is.

The only advise: next time wait about a month with an upgrade until most problems are solved.
I could not even get them to make a ticket for either problem.

Except this update was automatic and most will just click on the install button instead of the postpone button.

I can't fully agree on that, treetopsranch. The Note/TabPRO sees is aimed at people who may be considered reading and understand the warning before they press their consent button.
And, it is not my first upgrade in Android, they talked about apps and widgets as usual.
Where you truly can blame Samsung is that something that may be considered essential for specifically this aimed group of PROfessional users, a variety of Bluetooth input devices from general or specialist third party producers, was simply neglected. 'We' are not the people/tablet combination that let infants play, pressing some whatever-button, with our PROduction machines.
'We' were about the last in Samsung''s line to receive an upgrade to Lollipop, they could have used their time and experience. Now we have to wait for a bug fixing update, maybe another upgrade.

Automatic it was not, but a blameful, too early and insufficiently tested release it was.

My problem with Samsung on this is that they took forever and a freaking blue moon to get Lollipop to the Note Pro 12.2 and when they did it is all messed up! Give me a break at trying to keep them blameless in this fiasco. The Logitech keyboard is the #1 keyboard used for this device and there are no telling how many of them use it as well, so yeah without a doubt in my mind they knew in the months and months of slowness in delivery that some of these devices would be crippled!

I just got off the phone with Logitech and created a case with them. They stated they are aware of the issue and their product specialist is looking into a possible firmware fix, but they believe Samsung will need to develop the fix, but they are going to see if they can find a work around.

I also called Samsung as well. They don't seem to be aware of the issue at all or don't care. They said that I should just sit and wait for an update or pay to send it to a service center to be downgraded. Right. That's not going to happen. I will never purchase a Samsung device again if they cannot comment on this soon and will look at my washer, dryer, phone, tablet, tv, blu ray player with detest from here on.

Funny that with all the different people who gave reported the problem with a ticket entered (probably only a fraction of which post here) they still tell callers they aren't aware of a problem. And since their phones don't have the problem it is inexcusable for the note pro to have Bluetooth issues.

I have the same issue with both of my bluetooth page turner pedals (I have two models by AirTurn and neither will work) - I can get them to connect, but I cannot get them to function. As a musician, this is incredibly inconvenient and I'm irritated as heck! I'll try to connect with Samsung to get on their list of unhappy customers and in the meantime will follow these posts in case somebody comes up with a fix.
Really wish I'd read this before this afternoon. I just bought a Bluetooth pedal which was working beautifully, upgraded the operating system (because I was annoyed with being reminded) and now it's a paper weight.

This is beyond frustrating. Given the cost of this tablet, all of its accessories, and the marketing specifically to professionals, this is a particularly egregious error on Samsung's part. I submitted a ticket to Logitech yesterday morning - no response, thus far.

I just finished a support chat from Samsung. The response was, send the tablet in... even though I had mentioned that my logitech keyboard worked prior to the lollipop update. Nick G was not too helpful for a help individual. The samsung support individual ended up terminatin our chat before answering if there was any support software update for samsung note pro 12.2. If this is a ploy for samsung to get more users to buy their keyboards, they are worng. This type of software blockage will only result in users purchasing different tablets. Ugh. What a waste of time.

This morning from Logitech (similar to what others had already posted days ago):

We are aware of this issue with keyboard stopped working after Android firmware upgrade to Lollipop. Android changed something on their update that prevented Bluetooth keyboards from connecting.

We are still looking for a workaround and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Ugh, misery loves company I guess I put off the update all week, finally gave in last night. Just tried to use my Logitech bt keyboard (this is the one I JUST bought about a month ago - Pro Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Note|PRO & Samsung Galaxy Tab|PRO - Logitech - is that the one you all are using?), and same as everyone else. Connects fine, but that's it. LG bt headphones work fine, and the keyboard works on my Note 4. I'll add to Samsung's calls tonight or tomorrow. Sooooooo pissed off

Same - tired old story here.
Galaxy Note Pro 12,2 after have installed Lollipop I had a terrible taste:-)
I'm a touring classical concert musician and use the Airturn or Pageflip in live performances to turn my pages - often direct on Nationsl radio (BBC last week).
So lucky for me I waited until the end of six weeks on the road to have the "Good Ship Lollipop" surprise!
    Dead ALL dead.
The solution for me download Kitkat from the all night download center. Flash my tablet and after rebooting in rescue mode and flushing all it works.
Did the engineers who designed Lollipop hire chimpanzees to do their beta testing?

I chatted with Samsung on July 14, and spoke with them by phone on July 15. Their standard response is to reset the tablet back to factory. He even suggested that I allow them to try remote support! I managed to get the guy on the phone to accidentally admit that he had phone re: this problem already. My guess is that they are NOT going to admit there's a problem on first-line support because of liability issues. You can be sure that the legal department is well aware of the huge potential for a class action lawsuit over this.

I would like to download kitkat and downgrade. Does anyone have a handy how-to for that?

FWIW, not sure this is Samsung related. As everyone else's, my Logitech keyboard stopped working on the 5.0.2 upgrade however my Nexus 7 bluetooth keyboard works fine -- though thats not particularly handy for me since its a bit small! But it looks like Samsung is kicking the can to Logitech according to my support chat with them:

Silvia B: Hi, thank you for reaching out to Samsung technical support. How may I assist you?
Visitor: After upgrading my Note 12 to 5.0.2, my Logitech bluetooth keyboard no longer works. It pairs but otherwise does not function.
Silvia B: I see that after updating andriod 5.0.2 your Logitech bluetooth keyboard is not working.
Silvia B: What is the model number of the tablet? You can find on the rear panel of the tablet. The model number starts with SM or GT.
    Visitor: SM-P900
Silvia B: Thank you for model number.
Silvia B: Does other bluetooth keyboards working properly?
    Visitor: Yes
Silvia B: There is no issue with the tablet, there is compatibly issue the Logitech bluetooth keyboard.
Silvia B: You can con contact to Logitech support, if they have released any patches.

Hey, that might be the same agent I chatted with a few days ago when I reported that my Air Turn pedal would no longer function, I recall that I had a Silvia as well. She wasn't sympathetic and somehow, our chat was disconnected after she said it wasn't a Samsung problem and to contact Air Turn. I am pleased to say though that I received an email from Air Turn on Tuesday, who advised that they have heard from Samsung. I provided some specs on my tablet and am waiting to see what happens next.

Obviously either Samsung/Google/Android or Logitech did not strictly comply with the bluetooth spec at some point. It could be that with Kit-kat did not follow the spec and also llowed acessories to take advantage of that somehow. Then any bluetooth accessory that took advantage of it stopped working when Lollipop was coded to spec. Of course it could also be everything in kit-kat was according to spec and Lollipop was coded out of spec causing any devices that only work according to spec to stop working. It would be nice to know what is really the case because that really is what should determine the responsible party. Since the Logitech keyboard works with other devices (even other devices runnin Lollipop) my bet is that this is really a Samsung issue.

Like everyone else, after installing the lollipop update earlier this week, my Logitech bluetooth keyboard is not working at all. It pairs, but typing does nothing. I have an old POS bluetooth keyboard that I used with my Galaxy note 10.1. I paired it and it works fine. That tells me this is a logitech issue vs. a Samsung issue. Hopefully Logitech resolves this because up until now, this has been the best keyboard I've ever used. Perfect size, perfect keys, etc. As others have expressed, I use mine daily for work so this is definitely creating a challenge for me.

Still waiting for a fix too...

Meanwhile, I found a great tip at xda-developers.com for a temporary fix using the app An2An Remote (in the Play Store). You can use another Android device like a smartphone as a proxy for the keyboard. It works after it's set up correctly, but no special function keys works. You also can't use the smartphone while in use.
