muting mic

I have a Zoom H4n digital recorder which has the option of a usb audio interface. When I connect it to my Note Pro 12.2 SM-T900 on its usb host socket, it is recognised and the Zoom's stereo mics are activated. My problem is that I do not know if I can disable the Note Pro's built-in mic. Is there a way do do this?

There is no option to mute the mic but you can temporarily disconnect it. The flex cable for IR and mic is between rear and front cameras, you can see a hole on the lcd frame directly above the mic.

Yes, there are apps that can disable the mic and camera. I use "Device Control" from Expert Systems.
