Does Flip Cover for Note 2 Work Well For Note 1?

I just bought a Galaxy Note and I'm looking for a cover case. On Amazon the Flip for the Note 2 has way better reviews, would everything align perfectly or not? Also, since the stylus for the Note 2 is better I'm thinking about getting that and replacing the Note 1 stylus, is that a good idea?

Overall, when I upgrade my note to the latest Android software, is this still a good phone? I decided on the Note 1 since it was way less expensive..that is all..

Different size phone, so probably not. Which is the main reason I never upgraded, as I already invested ?100 on car and desk docks for the Note 1
