MHL Adapter not working for Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)

Hi all,

I have a Samsung MHL 2 adapter and I want to use it to connect my Note 10.1 2014 to the Monitors I use at work. With this MHL adapter and a HDMI to VDI converter, i am able to mirror my Galaxy S5 perfectly well to the Monitor, however it does not work when I connect it to my Note 10.1. The Monitor doesnt detect it and eventually goes into sleep mode.

With the same setup at home, I am able to mirror to my Note to my HDTV.

Does anyone know why i cannot mirror the Note screen to the work monitors while I can with the S5?
