Why is my battery draining on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 so fast?

I just received a used Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 from Amazon and I'm loving the device. There is just one huge issue. The battery drainage has been out of control. I am now burning 1 percent per 30 seconds. This is with WiFi not scanning, brightness all the way down, and location off. Has anyone else had this problem??? Are there any solutions?

Welcome to Android Central! Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).
