i had recently bought the samsung precedent the phone is amazing for 45 bux a month but i do not get service at my home with it is there any other way to get better service with this handset ??????????????

the provider for service is Sprint, unfortunatly at this time there is not alot of coverage like if it was on verizon.. you can get the MSL of the phone and try using CDMA-Workshop to flash a new sprint POSTPAID (for sprint contract customers) PRL to the phone.

you could also look into getting a signal booster for your home like this one on amazon:

Don't know if it will exactly work with Straight Talk though.

it should work as Straight Talk is using Sprint for the Precedent so SPRINT is accually the provider you just pay straight talk for the service
