I recently used the androidarea51 Gingerbread rooting update thing, and I'm completely blown away. My phone is more practical than ever. The only problem I've come across relates to the email. When I flashed the ROM, the email app that came with the Precedent upon purchase is gone. I've looked online to try and find a way to reinstall, because I've tried K-9 and I personally think it's crap (because it doesn't seem to work on my device), and I was particularly fond of the old factory email app.

Does anyone know where I can download it?

Find someone locally (or who you trust, and will email you a file) with a rooted phone and the Astro file manager. He can save an apk file of the GMail app for you. Then install it with an app like Apk Installer.
