You can use almost any launcher app as most of them allow you to change the app drawer settings. My favorite one is go launcher. It is very customizable and very fluid. Also you can change the stock app drawer to a list style by hitting the app drawer button then hit menu. You have a few options there.

One thing to keep in mind is the TW launcher uses hardware acceleration whereas all 3rd party launchers do not. I notice the difference even while being OC'd to 1500 MHz. If you don't then NBD but look closely in your screen transitions, in my experience the lag is there using both Go EX and ADW EX. There is definitely give and take however as Go and ADW are much more customizable. There is also a hacked TW launcher somewhere on XDA that gives you many of the options of Go while still utilizing HW acceleration. When ICS gets deployed this won't be a differentating factor as its baked into the OS. Cheers
