As I had not been able to find this information, I thought I would share.
I was able to successfully tether my Touchpad to a skyrocket today at the AT&T store. I verified that I was able to access the internet by visiting Google. Please note that I did not turn on my Touchpad's Wi-Fi until after the phone's hotspot had been enabled.
As far as I could tell, nothing had to be done to the hotspot configuration other than changing the password since the salesperson did not know what the password had been set to previously.
Now I just have to find out some specific tethering details about the Skyrocket once it's been rooted. But that's for a different thread.
