cannot access micro sd card

I have a 2 Gig micro sd card in ATT skyrocket with pics I need to retrieve. My computer does not give me access. I'm not the brightest bulb in the candelabra and need a little help. Thanks in advance.

Did you pull down the top bar while you plug it in while the message comes up "usb connected"...and then enable usb data transfer mode or whatever it says? I can't remember exactly but it is self explanatory once you pull down on the top bar while it says usb connected right after you plug it in to the usb cable hooked to your pc.
