My GMAIL app looks way different for some reason...

I'm not sure if its something to do with the Skyrocket or maybe it needs an ICS update but I see pictures of the Gmail app in the Google Play store that look nothing like the Gmail app I have on my phone (that is completely upgraded).

For example, the top attachment is the picture from the Play store and the second is a screenshot from my phone.

Can anyone tell me why it is different?

Once the ICS upgrade lands on the skyrocket or if you root and flash a ICS ROM on it, the Gmail app will go through an extreme make over. The screenshot of the Gmail app on your phone is the same on all GB ROMs and won't be like what Gmail on ICS looks like unless the code gets changed.
