Does anyone know where the option to set the interval is?

I've heard that AutoSync takes up a lot of battery if you have several push notifications coming from several apps (Twitter, FourSquare, Facebook, Gmail) and was wondering if there was a way to change the interval so its not ALWAYS running.

On the flip side, I have had people tell me that AutoSync uses almost no battery BECAUSE of push notifications - that they "push" from the server and are not actively being pulled from wherever the data is being stored. If this were true, it wouldn't be necessary to set an AutoSync interval. But I have heard it exists and have not been able to find it on my Skyrocket.

To be honest, I don't really understand how the system works.

Thanks in advance for any help.
