Power Controls App

So I started using Power Controls and I love it. Now my question for all you experienced users with it. The stock symbol on the far left; is that for tethering or what is it for. I activated it the other day and used the phone for internet and surfed a lot of web on my laptop. I followed the prompts and all that but I wasn't sure what I was doing exactly. Now my concern is usually if I ever use the stock tethering app it tells me to go to att.com or on GB I would get a text shortly after saying that I would be switched to a tethering plan if I continued to tether. I have the unlimited data plan and I really don't want to get screwed out of it. So please ladies and gents some input and knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
