Incorrect year of Original Photo

Today I was downloading my photos off the phone to my laptop
using the Kies software.
Once the thumbnails were showing I sorted them by Year
and was amazed to see a large number of them were
dated 30-12-1899.
I know I am getting on but I am definitely not that old nor is my mobile.
Yes the phone is set to the correct date and year?.

Any idea's.

Any idea's.

Open the camera app and see if there is anything in there related to a date/time stamp setting. Also, open up an image on the phone and check the information to make sure the photo is displaying proper dates/times. Then upload that same photo to your computer and check the same information. Start there to try and pinpoint the problem, perhaps it's with the PC not reading the date/time correctly.
