So the power button on my Samsung Galaxy s 2 (GT- i9100) is kapoot. I have already bought a new one and most of my stuff transferred over with my memory card, but there are still some photos I didn't have on the card when this happened. I just want to be able to turn the damn thing on long enough to get them.

I have tried the thing where you hold down your down volume button and plug the phone in. It's supposed to ask you if you want to do a reset. if you say no it is simply supposed to restart your phone. I don't get that option though. For me it automatically bring me to the ODIN download screen with the little green man.

The battery is fully charge and all of the other buttons respond, it's just the power one.

The phone is just old enough that if I send it away I will have to spend a lot of money, which I would rather not do for a few photos, but I really can't think of what else to try.

If anyone has some suggestions I would really appreciate it.
