This post can be interpreted a couple ways. "Look for updates in September. Details & download instructions to follow." Could mean that there's updates coming to fix this in September or that we will see news updates in September and the fix will arrive following September which basically doesn't give any form of time frame. Wish we had a little clarification on what the "updates" were (software/news).

Samsung just denied that any fix is coming following a discussion of GPS on engaget. they told Engadget
[Update: We just spoke with Samsung, who told us that Google is now requiring that the "use wireless networks" setting for location-based services be turned off by default in Android devices -- in other words, no AGPS unless you manually enable it. Sure enough, we went into Settings, found that it was disabled on the Epic, turned it on, and we were good to go. No GPS bug!]
