Is transferring my Galaxy 3S with a CDMA easy to transfer (Net10)?

OK...I have a Galaxy 3S (very happy with it) that is a CDMA version (no SIM so I am assuming)...I got it used (unlocked) and am using it with Net10...anyway...I want to get a different phone and give this one to my husband. This means port my # to the new phone and his # to the Galaxy 3S. Well...if I had a SIM I would just pop in a new SIM...but it is a CDMA...is this going to be an issue? How do I do that with a CDMA phone? Thank you so much for your input!!!
