I have the screen stay on while charging set in developer options.
When on charge the screen eventually dims down to almost black.
Makes it difficult to use in Auto on maps.
I have the brightness set to adaptive.
Any idea how to adjust this?
Thanks

Have you tried turning Adaptive Brightness off? The reason I ask is that I do not have it set to On on my Samsung phone and do not have that problem. In fact I do not have any of the options turned on under the Display->Brightness options.

I have found when I'm plugged into the charger and running on maps it just stays on. Maybe you overthought it by changing the developer setting. Put it back to normal. I have adaptive brightness on.

Thanks for the suggestion. I turned off adaptive brightness. In my car while plugged in with usb, the screen still when way to dim to almost black. I can barely see that it is still on. Touching it brings up the screen again. Interesting, this does not happen in my office where I wirelessly charge it on a stand. In the car, I noticed the phone said 100% charged and did not show it was charging. This is frustrating.
