I've been having this screen issue on my Galaxy S10 for a few days. It started with just showing up when the screen was up, now it's showing on the lock screen. Anyone else have this issue? I've tried soft and hard resets. And safe mode. Still shows up.

Re: Screen issue

Looks like you're having an issue with the actual screen. Either a loose cable inside the phone or the panel itself is failing (or has failed). Being that it's a perfectly straight line, it doesn't appear to be the result of cracking, but it could still be an internal failure as the result of a drop.

And.. welcome to AC, and congrats on figuring out that you need to register to post a screenshot (and HOW to post the screenshot), so many haven't done the same even when we needed to see it!

Welcome to Android Central! I agree with hallux, that looks like a hardware issue. Make sure to backup or sync your important data NOW in case the screen completely fails without warning. Then bring it to a repair shop. Good luck!

Hi, welcome to AC!

Try Samsung experience shop or ubreakifix which is authorized for Samsung repairs and keeps your water resistant rating.

Re: Screen issue

Thanks everyone! In your experience is this covered or will I have to pay the $250 to get it repaired?

If you have insurance then it be cheaper to pay out the pocket if not i dont see Samsung doing a warranty on this

Re: Screen issue

The S10 is more than 2 years old, so it's unlikely that it's still under warranty (unless you bought it brand new within the past year).
