Fast WiFi but certain apps takes long time to open?

Hi, I have a s10 but for some reason a particular app (BBC news) takes a really a long time to open... when I goto to my data allowance its back to normal... I've switched on off my phone, reinstalled the app etc but no luck... my WiFi is fast as I have an Apple work phone and the app opens perfectly fine. We did have a temporary power cut yesterday... but didn't think that would affect the WiFi... not sure if its the actual S10 phone... any ideas? Thank you.

Super slow Apps via S10 wifi on home network but works great using data?!?

Hoping to get some help to troubleshoot this issue I'm having... on a S10. I cannot seem to figure out why apps like BBC News, Virgin money, News apps etc. all run extremely slow (if at all) using my home network wifi. I can literally open an app and it won't even load while I'm on my own wifi, however once I turn my wifi off and use data it loads instantly. Every time. We recently had a power cut and for some reason the problems started after ?!?!... Appreciate any help guys...

All other devices seem to work fine, including my iPhone

Are you using 2.4 or 5 GHz WiFi? Have you tried switching your router's broadcast bands?

Make sure no ad guards or vpn?

I would try removing the network and then setting it up again.

Thanks for the advice guys, will try your suggestions... strangely enough when I googled the issue a few different ways... it came up an issue someone had after a power shortage... in my case a power cut... it seemed to affect android devices and not any other as my computer and two iphones work well... strange?!? But thanks guys.
