Messaging app, open settings, go into notifications, touch the word general notifications and uncheck vibrate. Do the same for new messages. 😊

You can also change the individual notification sounds as well.

Can you go under contacts and see if you can make a individual text tone per contact. I know you can under the messaging app but it goes away once you delete the thread. It used to be under contacts where you change your ringtone and vibration pattern it would say text tone

Not since Oreo. You can set a tone per thread, but not per contact. SMS Popup lets you do that, though.

Yeah I didn't think they brought it back since it didn't come back with Pie on my 9 plus. I have Textra I can use but I like having a theme and how the stock matches. But now with the new S10 plus I am just going to keep it on one of the pretty wallpapers for a while and not do a theme. But thanks! A lot of people are upset they took that feature away. I miss the bubbles also when I had my 7 Edge you could have your favorites up top

Oh my goodness, on my S10 I finally got rid of those *%@( pop up bubbles. Drove me nuts.

Would you know about how to change sound options. I was able to change ringtones but, on the S10, for most of the notifications sounds are only allowing a default list of not great sounds. On the S8 I was able to attach snappy sounds to my incoming mail for my two account and was very helpful to understand where the message came from without looking at the phone. .

Ignor this post, this is a Blackberry Hub+ Services question. I have directed it to their support.

Strange. I went into messages settings and unchecked vibrate in both general and new and I still get sound and vibrate on new texts. Unless do not disturb is on. Help?
