I'm using Message+ on my S10+. I set the Notification Style to Sound and Pop-up. In the Settings menu, I enabled Notifications to display the messages in the status bar. The attached screenshot shows what I receive when an SMS arrives. I don't want the SMS to appear in the status bar. I do want the pop-up and the sound. However, if I disable Notifications (status bar), as I can do in the second screenshot, I receive the pop-up, I don't receive the status bar masage, but I get no sound. Can I set something to get only the pop-up + sound? Thanks.
Thanks. To get to that menu, I open Message+, tap the three stacked bars in the upper left next to Conversations (screenshot 1), tap Settings (screenshot 2), and then Notifications (screenshot 3).

Yeah Verizon version different
This my stock Samsung app
If you long press the Verizon app >then tap info >go to notification and tap does it give you similar to mine?
Thanks. Even if I turn off the status bar notifications, I still receive SMS texts on the status bar. I do get the pop-up+sound notices, too, so changing the status bar options this way did nothing.
